Bound for Barcelona

Cars and trains and planes carried me here. A smooth trip - the pilots even took a detour around the Middle East!

Once I checked in and passed through emigration, I felt like I was in a twilight zone. Families, couples and individuals like me quietly waiting waiting …

A passport, boarding pass and a guitalele - what more could I need!

Barcelona customs took some time. After being suspended in time and space for a while, it was time to good to get some fresh air, and feel the Spanish rain again.

With help from friends,  I had clear directions and my phone connected seamlessly. I took the airport bus and then walked to  the Barcelona Central Garden Hostel.
Patrick the manager gave me a smile and I shuffled in 🎵…

Private single room and a relaxed friendly atmosphere- I recommend it folks!

After settling in and washing, it was time to venture outside - the rain stopped and the streets were coming to life

I had a drink and  some dinner. It had been a long trip and so I decided to have an early night (well not that early 😉) - it felt wonderful to have arrived.
